This is a relatively long post.. so bear wif it.. but there are some photos below.. enjoy!!
WoooHooo!! SAF day finally over!! tt means an one big and heavy burden is finally lifted off our shoulder lo!! and all we left is e upcoming NDP!!
Let me see.. last week we got one GOH for e New Zealand Governor General.. a female.. den saw our President Mr Nathan so close for e first time.. he was rather short la.. ahha.. but anyway.. after e GOH.. we went back to camp to change to Long 4 cos we haf to rush to SAFTI for SAF day rehearsal.. SHAG!! we did not haf a gd time to rest.. cos immediately we went back camp we had to rush for lunch den get change so as to accomodate to e time e coaches were arriving.. as we reached SAFTI.. we were called to fall in to do rehearsal immediately!! e parade RSM said they will do a short run wif alot of components ignored.. but in e end?? there is onli no inspection and no prize presentation!! which means its actualli close to full run.. den they said their objective today was to do a full sequence run!! ARRRGGGHHH!! waste time sia.. den before e real run starts.. there were dark clouds.. den we kept praying to rain.. indeed it rained!! haha.. juz as we were happily waiting for e parade RSM to cancel e parade rehearsal.. suddenly we heard drum rolls for us to march in!!! wa lao eh.. they inhumane lo.. e rain was relatively big lo.. our long 4s were all wet.. it nv stopped raining after tt.. onli until parade is over.. haha.. so suay..
Actualli we tot we get to rest on Thursday cos next day SAF day and e Exco Commitee Head for SAF day alreadi told us to rest liao.. but in e end we got training for SAF day in camp in e afternoon!! and it was super lame when they told us to change our drill arms to actual arms.. haha.. i don tink it make any difference cos its e same lo.. onli e drill arms is veri cui.. got masking tape all over.. haha..
Friday.. we reached there quite early.. ard 8plus.. but e last rehearsal starts at 10 plus!! wat e hell!! waste our time sia.. rather slp in bunk lo.. haha.. eh.. e rehearsal was quite cock up.. cos our reviewing was not done properly.. den we had lunch.. den rest.. den changed to No.1 for inspection by our commanders at 2.. den changed out again.. den changed back again at 3 for MSD (Military Security Department) to check our body and arms.. after which we had to stand at e holding area to wait for e time for us to proceed to FUP (Form-Up Point) which is ard 4plus close to 5.. haa.. its quite troublesome la.. cos after they checked us.. when we needed to go toilet we had to tell them.. den after came back had to let them check again.. :P.. after a long wait.. we finally went in at 1700hrs.. hmm.. e atmosphere was so traumatizing lo.. there was a huge crowds!! clapping and cheering.. and officers wif so many things on their shoulder.. haha.. den got foreign VIPs.. after an hr or so.. its e time to arrived.. its e time for us, Singapore Armed Forces Provost Unit to perform le.. its e trooping of colour.. which everyone was waiting.. everyone of us was encouraging each other softly in e contingent.. i could sensed tt everyone was veri focused.. Upon "TROOP!!" we knew it had started.. our OC gave e command and we executed it.. it was nice.. den we marched to form 3 rows of 24 men.. den given "Maju!" we marched off from marching on e spot.. suddenly.. we could heard clapping.. we all felt so honourable and proud.. haha.. everything went well even when we came to e spot after reviewing.. e line was straight!! Amazingly straight!! den e slow march was oso good.. den we came to stop.. den after which we marched off from e parade.. everyone was happy cos it finally over and we had done it!! haha.. we went back to holding area for dinner.. while having dinner.. our RSM came to talk to us.. he was smiling all over his face!! haha.. he said we had done veri well!! den he relayed our CO's words to us.. we tot we will having days off.. haha.. but all he said was "Thank you!!" CHEY!! we tot wat nia.. after which we went back to camp.. though we were given nite off.. i did not went home.. cos haf to book in by 8 next morning.. and since my hse is far away and is like ard 2100 liao.. so i stayed in.. i was rather shagged too..
next morning we had NDP training in camp first to sort out e new formation again.. bcos of e organisers saying our performance is bored.. we had to change e entire thing again!! wat e hell!! more than half of it was changed la.. den we trying veri hard to adapt to e change.. e weather was super hot and we had to wear helmet lo.. we train from 8 plus to 10 plus before we booked out for lunch.. i nv booked out cos too lazy so stay back to eat cup noodles instead.. after which at 12 we fell in to train for e last time before taking e buses to Padang.. at there.. we rested onli awhile before we entered Padang to walk e ground first to familiarize wif e grd lo.. haha.. e first time i lost cos i cant find e marking la.. damn it.. but after i dentify e marking.. i noe i wont get lost again la.. cos e first time e stupid band blocked my vision lo.. after which we practised at e holding area and oso consumed our dinner.. after which at ard 5 plus.. we went in again for e actual rehearsal lo.. whoa.. feel abit scared at first cos alot of pple watching.. but after a while not scared anymore.. eh.. veri sianz lo.. cos first time we nv realli complete e whole run.. so now e second run got alot of pple lost and cant find markings.. luckily for me.. i can find e marking as it was pretty easy for me to find.. but overall e performance still not veri gd la.. haha.. after which we went back camp to send arms den book out..
Today.. woke up at 9 cos haf to meet my frds to play bball at 10.. whoa.. damn shag lo.. slept veri late e nite before.. Hmmm.. damn fun to play wif them after so long.. though we had a hard time finding for a court.. haf to challenge other pple first den after they went off then we can play.. having a fun time under e sun lo.. after which went to haf lunch at MAC.. actualli wan to eat KFC one.. but we realized it was under renovation and it was closed!! hhaha.. i lived in AMK yet i dunno a single shit lo.. ahah.. eat liao went to K-pool to play pool a while.. den long nv play la.. but damn fun to play lo..
